Not automatically.
“Delete crash data” is a common search term. Technically, however, the decisive factors are whether every consequence of the accident has been repaired within the restraint system and whether the specific SRS control unit can be reset safely.
Can any SRS ECU be reset?
No. Device type, damage, data status and error pattern must be checked first. Some control units or damage require a suitable replacement.
Is resetting alone enough?
