A replacement module must do more than look identical. Part numbers, hardware, software, vehicle configuration and the participating PATS systems must match the exact vehicle variant. Every request therefore starts with a VIN and complete part-number check.

Certain jobs involving removed control units or coordinated module sets can be completed by mail after an individual assessment. Please do not ship unannounced: we first confirm whether the unit is sufficient or the complete vehicle is required.

Which Ford services does Asphalt Motorsport provide?
We handle compatible Ford cases involving PATS and immobiliser systems, control-unit replacement and commissioning, vehicle configuration, diagnostics and keys. Can I mail in a Ford control unit from Germany or another European country?
Yes. Suitable control units and coordinated module sets can be mailed in from Austria, Germany and other European countries after prior approval. We confirm whether the job can be completed without the vehicle before anything is shipped.
Can a used Ford control unit be adapted to my vehicle?
Commissioning a used module may be possible when both the vehicle and replacement unit are compatible. The part number, hardware version, software version, vehicle platform and existing configuration all matter, so we assess both units in advance.
What is Ford PATS?
PATS is Ford's immobiliser and start-authorisation system. When a participating control unit is replaced, initialisation and synchronisation may be required so that the supported vehicle systems can work together correctly.
Can you program an additional Ford key?
Additional keys can be programmed for compatible vehicles. We require the vehicle details, information about all existing keys and proof of ownership. Depending on the model, the complete vehicle may need to be present in Vienna.
Can you help if all Ford keys have been lost?
All-keys-lost cases can be handled for compatible vehicles after an individual assessment. For security reasons, proof of ownership and normally the complete vehicle are required. We cannot confirm coverage without the vehicle details.
Do I need to bring the complete vehicle to Vienna?
It depends on the job. Certain requests involving removed components can be handled by mail. Key services, synchronisation of several installed systems, start authorisation and final functional checks often require the complete vehicle.
Can you help with Ford DPF or AdBlue problems?
For compatible Ford vehicles, we assess diagnostics, DPF regeneration and reset of an AdBlue- or SCR-related no-start status only after the underlying fault has been properly diagnosed and repaired. We do not disable or bypass emissions systems.
What information do you need for a Ford request?
Please provide the VIN, model, model year, complete part numbers, component photos, stored fault codes, a detailed problem description, information about parts already replaced and the number of existing keys. This allows us to assess compatibility and the correct service route.
